Food Culture

In the world, there are around 190 nations. Each country has a own

culture. Some county don’t eat pork. Some country don’t have much

food which is very poor country like Africa. In Africa, There are

neither enough food nor sufficiently water. We are living in the world,

but we are living in different culture. So food be cooked different way

by climate and ground. We perfectly don’t understand other country

culture. Then we can easily think that other country food is strange.

We can’t distinguish which food is the best. We can choose for

health food however we can’t choose for the nice thing. Because

every people used to their own food. Even I also think that my

country food is the best . It is wrong thinking. When I came U.S.A.,

I have had troubles food. Korean food have a strong smell. I know, I

can understand. So, I do not cook in dormitory. When I was living in

Stuewalt which is dorm in summer vacation, I really wanted to eat

Korean noodle, so noodle was boiled by me. It took time just five

minute in the public kitchen. During the my cooking time, I always

use a aroma spray . I brought a noodle pan to my room. After

eating, I went out of my room because of washing the pot up. I

realized perfume smell in front of my door. May be, Someone which

doesn’t like noodle smell sprayed . My feeling was not good, but I

could understand someone’s mind. So my opinion, we just have

different culture . It is not strange. It is a little bit strange, but It is

part of understanding each other.

My Hero Is My Father !

A Person who Has Made a Difference: Young Choon Lee.

I want to talk about a person who has made a difference is Young choon Lee who is my

father. He helps me whenever I got a hard time. Another one is that he is my mentor. It is big

reason why I choose my father who has make a difference.

First of all, He is my supporter which means what I need something he can solve. I know

this is not a source of pride. Now, I am a student, so I can’t handle about money. Some students

who make money by them self use money without parents’ permission, because they make

money, but I am not that one. I am learning English in USA. It means I can’t make money by

myself. I perfectly have to depend on my parents especially my father. If I get a nice job and

make money after graduation, every month I will give to my parents about 10% of my salary. It

is like a insurance. It’s just my thinking. If he didn’t support to me, maybe I couldn’t come here.

Even he is always first talking with me when I got problems. Last winter vacation, I really

was worry about me because I didn’t want to waste my golden time because I had been

studying for the TOEFL but still I don’t get it , so I thought that I went back to South Korea.

However, he talked me that English is really hard language especially Korean. We are totally

different grammar, so you need to more time. You are doing well, so if you are going to do a

little bit harder and then you will get what you wanted. He always give to me courage, and he

cheer me up.

That is why I chosen my father. He is my hero not only just my father but also my senior of life.

Hi Everyone!!
Today I want to talk about Fixit which is part of Olemiss office.
This office is doing for something fixing.

Yesterday, The light on the drawer between the two mirror turned off in my room .
So, I asked her who is RA sitting on the front desk in the Guess Hall.
She told me address and then she joted down the address on piece of paper for me.
I was really appreciated to her. Now I had been regretting that I didn't ask her name.

When I came back to my room , I sent email . The address is fixit@olemiss.edu
Story of mail is like this.........
Hi I am living in the Guess Hall 143.
The light in my room turned off, could you fix it?
and in my floor bathroom's light also turned off .

As you know, you can just write about important information.
so, If your room' stuff get a broken you can email it like what I did.

When I arrived in my room from IEP building , I was happy.
Because he fixed it not only my room's light but also bathroom's light.
I was really glad .

They are working so fast. They also doing cleanly.
